Extra-Curricular

At Co-op Academy Priesthorpe, the development of skills such as social, communication, problem solving and teamwork is enhanced by the opportunities and experiences students have outside the classroom.

There are a diverse range of activities that are part of a weekly timetable for students to choose from. These activities run before or after school and are delivered by staff who are enthusiastic to share their knowledge and passion.

Extra-curricular activities in subjects, such as Music, Art and Sport, help extend student’s confidence, perseverance, motivation and resilience beyond the classroom. Each student has the opportunity to develop their strengths and to discover new talents and interests. Activities vary each term but during the year may include; football, badminton, boxing, rock band, art, photography, cookery and many more.

For further information on our wider provision please view the table below. Here you will find information on the activity, the venue and the year group of the students who are invited to attend.

Inspiring students to contribute fully to life within their own communities and beyond.
