Dear Parents and Carers 

Earlier this academic year we changed the way we record and store children’s information in school by switching to a new cloud-based system called Arbor. This system is working well, and we have decided to switch to the Arbor Parent Portal and Arbor App, to help us communicate with you more easily. 

We have included instructions of how you can access this on your phone; and we will be sending an email with your log on details; please be advised that Arbor communicates by email. Your log on details will come from Arbor by email within the next 3 days, so please make sure you check your junk email folders. If you do not receive an email, please contact school on prie-info@coopacademies.co.uk with the correct email address, so we can update your details. 

We are asking every parent and carer who is the ‘main contact’ to school, to set the Arbor app up as soon as possible so we can put this new, improved system in place. It is only effective if we have everyone on there and we don’t want you to miss any communications from us once we fully switch over! 

We will continue to use ParentPay for the time being for payments, including trips and lunch money – so please do not get rid of your ParentPay access – you will still need this. But going forward, messages and trips/clubs will appear on the Arbor App. 

We will check at various points through the next week to see how many people have added the app and we will then send out a test message before the App goes live – so please look out for this and don’t forget to check your junk mail. Until the App is live, messages will continue to be sent through the usual channels, including Classcharts.
