Dear Parent/Carer,

I would like to invite you to our Key Stage 4 Information Evening on Thursday 28 th September between 6pm and 7pm.

We run this event at the start of every academic year to share information with you about the
curriculum for the year ahead, ways in which we will support strong progress and tips on how
you can help.

The first part of the evening, from 6pm to 6.30pm, will be in the canteen where you will find
information booklets, revision materials and the opportunity to talk with core subject teachers.
In addition to this, staff will be available to provide guidance and support with applications for
colleges and apprenticeships, careers advice and Year 10 work experience placements.

The second part of the evening, which starts at 6.30pm in the main Hall, will include a
presentation from the Vice Principal and Curriculum Leaders for the Core subjects – Maths,
English and Science. They will share details of resources that are available, school systems and how best to support your child to be successful.
