Post 16 Dress Code

The Post 16 dress code is smart casual. When you’re at any of the school sites make sure you always wear your ID badge.

 

General Items

Jewellery

Jewellery should be discreet and appropriate for the workplace. Facial piercings are not allowed.

Hairstyles

Hair colour must be natural looking. Extreme hairstyles are not acceptable.

Hats

Hats must not be worn in school and coats should be removed for studying and lessons.

 

Male

  • Smart trousers, this includes smart jeans
  • Smart shirt, polo shirt or t-shirt with appropriate design
  • Smart shoes or boots
  • Appropriately sized bag or rucksack

Female

  • Smart trousers, including smart jeans, dress or skirt*
  • Smart shirt, blouse, polo shirt or t-shirt with appropriate design
  • Smart shoes or boots
  • Appropriately sized bag or rucksack

*Please note, dresses and skirts should be an acceptable length and not too short. Dresses with an inappropriate low neckline or that do not cover the shoulders must be worn with a cardigan or jacket at all times.

 

Sports Clothing

Only students taking part in a practical P.E. session are permitted to wear sports clothing.
