A great place to start is by talking to your ‘Coach’ or Key Stage Leader, they have access to careers information through the ‘Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) Programme’ as well as their subject areas.

You can also arrange individual appointments for guidance with Mrs Pickering our Careers and Work Experience Co-ordinator.

We run an excellent annual Y10 & Y12 Work Experience program. Mrs Pickering is available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday based in the OLC. You can email with queries and requests

Please click the link to view our Parent/Student Survival Guide, this contains lots of useful information about what to expect in Y11 and what comes next.

Careers education gives students the skills, knowledge and understanding to manage their own lifelong learning and career development. Through CEIAG, students will be able to feel more positive about themselves, improve their motivation, raise their aspirations and take responsibility for their career plans.

Please note – All students and their parents/carers are entitled to request an impartial Careers Interview and will be accommodated. Please contact Mrs Pickering for further information and arrange a convenient time.
