Tolerance of Different Faiths and Beliefs

Tolerance is not only promoted but also a genuine understanding of different faiths and beliefs is taught by offering a culturally rich and diverse curriculum in which all major religions of the world are studied and respected.

Examples include:

  • students are encouraged to embrace the culturally diverse society in which they live 
  • organising a range of interfaith activities 
  • providing opportunities for students to undertake community projects in their local area. 
  • meet and work alongside people from a range of backgrounds and beliefs 
  • Religious Studies curriculum provides a broad and balanced education on a range of faiths, religions and cultures 
  • people different faiths or religions are invited to school to share their knowledge and enhance learning
