Local Governing Body

Our governors are responsible for the quality assurance of the leadership and management of the business of the academy, including the setting of its vision, values and overall strategic priorities. The Governing Body must ensure that resources, with particular reference to finances, are used with maximum efficiency and provide strong value for money. The Governing Body has two sub committees; Finance & Resources and Students, Standards & Community. As well as these there are working groups, which meet on a regular basis to focus on key Academy priorities. In 2018/19 there are two working groups; one focused on Disadvantaged Students and one on Teaching and Learning.
